Also there were a young girl and her grandmother, who would not stop staring at me.

This incident reminds me of a couple of other incidents where people thought I looked like actress Ming-Na Wen of ER, the Joy Luck Club (great movie and book, btw), and now apparently Stargate Universe. After a quite internet search, I assume the airport woman meant Naoki Mori. I wasn’t sure if I really did resemble the actress since I’ve never seen the show, or if it was one of those things where some non-Asians think that most Asians look alike. She then said, at the least, I look like her sister. Two weeks ago, while at the Portland Airport, waiting for my return flight home from Sock Summit, a woman plopped herself next to me and insisted that I looked exactly like the Asian actress from the BBC show Torchwood.
